Brenda L. Solivan (She/Her)
Bereaved Parent / Board Member, Bilingual Peer Companion
Brenda is a licensed social worker who moved to Massachusetts from Puerto Rico 10 years ago. After suffering a miscarriage, she realized that the experience of baby loss seemed especially complicated within the Puerto Rican culture. She jumped right into working with Empty Arms on how we can offer services to Spanish speaking families, many of whom are Puerto Rican. She is serving as a bedside companion and is helping us to be able to offer native-language services to all of our Spanish speaking families.
Brenda is located in Springfield, MA.
