1) Describe briefly how you got involved with Empty Arms.

I discovered Empty Arms through a Google search after my son was stillborn at 37 weeks and 5 days in April 2023. I remember saying, 'I don’t know what I need, but I’m grieving and I know I need something.' I am deeply thankful that the team at Empty Arms responded to my online inquiry within hours.

2) What makes you most proud of the work we do/What do you like most about Empty Arms?

I believe Empty Arms and the friends I made during the most difficult time in my life through its support groups truly transformed my journey. I am proud to support others in their times of need and to contribute to the incredible work of the Empty Arms team and their extensive resources.

3) Share a passion in your life and/or work outside of EABS.

Beyond my work with Empty Arms, I advocate for stillbirth prevention, including initiatives to ensure placentas are measured during pregnancy and to raise awareness among birthing parents about proper kick count monitoring. I am also a mom who loves fine dining, spin class, yoga, traveling, and all things organized.
