1) Describe briefly how you got involved with Empty Arms.
My wife convinced me to try out the Dad’s Bereavement group about 2 years after we lost our son. When I started participating in Empty Arms and all the work the organization was doing I wanted to be a part of it.
2) What makes you most proud of the work we do/What do you like most about Empty Arms?
When we had our loss, I felt lonely and helpless. I want to do something positive in memory of our son, if I can play a smart part in helping a family not feel that loneliness or helplessness I like to think he would have liked that.
3) Share a passion in your life and/or work outside of EABS.
I love fly fishing and being out in the rivers/lakes kayaking exploring new waterways. Anything outdoors peaks my interest. Currently I work as a project manager in our local VA.
