1) Describe briefly how you got involved with Empty Arms.

As an OB/Gyn I have the honor and privilege of sitting with patients during their best and worst moments on their journeys to becoming a family. While I can provide a lot of care and support, there is so much that is needed when the patient leaves the hospital or my office. Empty arms steps in and provides the most incredible, compassionate care and support to patients and I am so grateful for it. After seeing this amazing work, I joined the board as a way to give back to an organization that has given so much to my patients and their families.

2) What makes you most proud of the work we do/What do you like most about Empty Arms?

At the bedside support for patients going through a loss is incredible. That and support for TMFR, which is so deeply needed

3) Share a passion in your life and/or work outside of EABS.

I love to spend time with my family outdoors- whether skiing, playing soccer, hiking, gardening or spending time in Maine.

Katie is located in Longmeadow, MA.
